The X-seriesAccepting no compromises in extreme situations.

When things get challenging and tough, the Lorch X-series gets going.

Thick material, difficult welding positions, or harsh environmental conditions: Demanding tasks start where the 5mm electrode is already deemed too small in MMA welding. At times, such applications can be downright extreme. Lorch has developed the X-series for this very application,

The special vertical weld and pulse function of the X-series often brings the decisive relief for such applications. MicorBoost technology ensures excellent ignition and optimum welding characteristics when using basic, rutile, or CEL electrodes. All of this is enclosed in an extremely rugged yet particularly compact housing for greater welding comfort

Lorch sets standards for MMA welding with its X-series.

Welding units for extreme welding tasks.

Certified by the world’s best welders: The welding properties of the X-series are the benchmark for demanding applications.

X-SERIES

Light-weight high-performance champion.

Starting at a weight of 18.6 kg with 350 A, the X-series leads the power-to-weight ranking. One could also say that it offers greater output at lower weight.

Rugged build.

The X-series is extremely stable in spite of its low weight. Falls from heights of up to 60 cm are no problem thanks to its crash protection. The special construction of the base of the unit offers excellent shielding also protect from dust, water, and dirt ingress.

The high-voltage hero.

Extension cables of up to 200 m and generator operation are often required. The X-series keeps on welding even if the voltage drops. The welding unit only turns off when the maximum negative tolerance of 40% is reached.

The smart energy saver.

Temperature sensors that steplessly adjust fan speed, the highly efficient MicorBoost technology and a standby function for welding breaks render the X series extremely energy efficient.

Performance plus thanks to Lorch's MicorBoost technology.

With MicorBoost technology, Lorch welding equipment can be made even lighter and more compact while ensuring increased power output.

Conventional welding inverters have relatively few voltage reserves. Whenever the arc becomes unstable during electrode welding, the conventional inverter has too little power to stabilize and the arc energy briefly collapses. This reduces the average arc power. MicorBoost technology provides huge voltage reserves. The collapse is avoided or decisively shortened and the arc power increases.

This enables a new quality in welding: Extremely stable and controllable - even with a long drawn arc.

Precision under extreme conditions with the practical operating concepts of the Lorch X-series

The Lorch X-series stands out and is perfectly adapted to rough working conditions. It makes the welder’s life easier with practical, smart features in the right place and its clever operation.

For example, stop guessing at which amp value you have set! Benefit from the X-series’ fast, digital amp adjustment via its 7-segment display. Electrode selection and many other settings are possible simply at the push of a button

3 steps and welding:

Best operation. Best welding result.

Lorch systems are so easy to operate because we integrated many of the things you have had to adjust since as assistance systems during development. A maximum of 3 steps and you weld perfection. The rest runs in the background. A very good system serves you, not you it. Operate - without you having to deal with it.

CC/CV switching for MIG-MAG

In combination with the separate semi-automatic wire feed case MF-07, the Lorch X 350 becomes the Lorch MX 350 and is then ideally suited for mobile MIG-MAG applications.

Always well-advised with close, personal, and honest support.
