The full, perfectly balanced package offer includes the torch, wire feed, power source, and cooling unit. Attachments for robot type to match are available as well. Thanks to the adjusted quality of the characteristic curves and processes for all relevant welding tasks ex works renders product customisation unnecessary.

The high-end control technology of the Lorch S-RoboMIG XT series provides a signal from a plethora of information to be evaluated by the robot controller for standard and pulsed arc processes alike. This weld seam detection and seam tracking functions enable the robot to constantly and automatically adapt the torch guidance to actual workpiece conditions. The signal provided can be used for vertical and horizontal adjustment of the torch guidance.

Sophisticated design

Certified quality.

The EN 1090 WPS folder avoids time- and cost-intensive individual tests of the welding results. The folder contains independently certified welding instructions for all the relevant standard welding procedures.

Perfect integration of the LorchNet and BUS coupling system for all common protocols.

An S-RoboMIG XT series welding system always uses a LorchNet connector. This modern interface ensures reliable communication between different Lorch devices. LorchNet, for example, easily connects a cold wire feeder to your power source to let you start welding right away.

The LorchNet connector also optimises connection of the S-RoboMIG XT power source to the robot controller. It serves as an interpreter, translating all signals and information from the internal LorchNet bus system into the robot’s language from one of the common FieldBus or Industrial Ethernet protocols.

All signals relevant for torch control, such as blow-out function, collision protection, and the contact sensor can also be communicated via the bus system entirely. An analogue-digital interface INT-06 for control cabinet installation or power source internal with 42-pin Harting connector is available as an option.
