The P-seriesEnergy-efficient top performance around the clock.

The ideal welding unit for shift work is enduring and powerful.

Performance, duty cycle, and a robust arc are of the highest priority in MIG-MAG-welding in shift operation. Energy efficiency, reliability, and productivity are major cost levers for very thick parts and seams that have multiple layers.

Up to 550 amps of power are no problem for the P-series, even around the clock and seven days a week. The P-series is complemented by its intuitive operation for convenient access to all setting options.

Configure the P series precisely to your needs to ensure that your system fits perfectly into the production environment and welding task. Your trusted Lorch partner will be happy to help and advise you personally.

The Lorch P series welds simply anything at up to 550 amps.

Variable welding units for greatest performance in continuous operation.

Overview of the advantages of the P-series.

The P-series ensures perfect interaction of all parameters and components involved in the welding process. The feed, the impressively stable arc, and the very system itself will not let you down, no matter the weld seam length. Work faster, with higher quality, and low-spatter thanks to digital smart process technology in combination with the Lorch Speed processes for MIG-MAG-welding.

P-Serie

EN1090-compliant package.

Save some time- and cost-intensive individual tests of your welding results! The enclosed Lorch WPS booklet contains independently certified welding instructions of all relevant standard welding procedures for easy EN1090-compliant welding.

Energy efficiency at full power.

The Lorch P-series combines top performance with efficient inverter technology and a stand-by function. This reduces costs while achieving perfect welding results.

Extra performance by MIG-MAG Speed processes.

The P-series has Lorch Speed processes that create the most diverse areas of application. The included processes, as well as the optional upgrades will let you weld more quickly and at higher quality.

No matter if locksmithery, steel construction or in the building industry:

The P-Series is your reliable companion.

Customised welding units for your welding challenges.

The P-series welding systems are variable in many aspects in order to adapt them perfectly to your individual MIG-MAG welding tasks, making the P-series your faithful but flexible companion.

Job Tool.

We provide software for easy backup and processing of up to 100 stored welding tasks (jobs) directly on your P-welding unit. Already-saved parameters can be transferred to other power sources with a single button. PIN-secured authorisation levels can be set up at need.

Feed versions: From workshop to shipyard.

Benefit from the configuration range of the P-series in terms of wire feeders as well. Different feed variants that are optimised for different tasks are available. Choose freely between workshop, assembly, or shipyard cases.

Sophisticated and variable housing versions.

Choose the wire feed that you need: Do you prefer an integrated wire feed in a compact housing, a separate wire feeder case, or both? Neither is a problem with the configurator.

Basic or high-end? Take your pick.

The unobstructed control panel and well-structured user interface optimise operating comfort and enable welding with the shortest possible setting time.

Choose from two operating options: A simple one, without synergy, for areas of application that do not require any high-end control panel, or a fully comprehensive service that offers full comfort and the entire range of functions.

01

Basic

  • “3 steps and weld” operating concept
  • Digital Volt-Amperage-display
  • Stepless current adjustment
02

XT

  • “3 steps and weld” operating concept
  • Digital Volt-Amperage-display

3 steps and welding:

Best operation. Best welding result.

Lorch systems are so easy to operate because we integrated many of the things you have had to adjust since as assistance systems during development. A maximum of 3 steps and you weld perfection. The rest runs in the background. A very good system serves you, not you it. Operate - without you having to deal with it.

We had four of our best welders weld with systems from different manufacturers in order to determine which welding units offer the greatest electricity savings. In the end, the Lorch P-series stood out for its impressive energy efficiency as well as its welding performance. The P-series and MIG-MAG-Speed processes from Lorch keep us ready to face the future.
