iQS – the new, smart way of welding

Lorch Schweißtechnik is setting a new benchmark in MIG-MAG welding with its groundbreaking iQS inverter platform. Developed in close coordination with the customer and presenting a range of integrated innovations, the company is showcasing the future of industrial welding at the world’s leading trade fair Schweissen und Schneiden in Essen from 11 to 15 September. The Smart Process Control Engine (SPC) is raising development and deployment of new welding processes onto an entirely new level. Comprehensive networking allows faster service, and the Smart Cockpit gives customers further significantly simplified and intuitive operator guidance. A torch generation perfectly aligned with the new technology complements the many innovations while turning the iQS into an inverter platform with unprecedented capacities.

Diverse and flexible uses – the new MF-09 wire feeder by Lorch

Thanks to a modular build, a bulk pack feed version, flexible change-over from water to gas, and many other handy features – the new wire feeder by Lorch offers the perfect solution for any production situation, leaving nothing to be desired in user friendliness and robustness either. The MF-09 thereby ideally supplements the newly developed iQS inverter platform by Lorch Schweißtechnik.

Everything under control with the new iQ-LMS Performance torch by Lorch

Together with the new iQS inverter platform, Lorch is presenting another generation of LMS Performance torches to clearly simplify manual welding yet again at the world’s leading trade fair Schweissen & Schneiden (11 to 15 September, Messe Essen). Equipped with a high-quality colour display, an additional workplace LED, and combined with a new and innovative torch connection to the power source, they offer best control, highest comfort, and perfect performance when welding.

High performance in robot welding with the new LMR 2 torch generation by Lorch

The new LMR 2 high-performance torches by Lorch open up entirely new performance dimensions in robot welding with their many innovations. Robots are now able to weld even more precisely with torches developed specifically for automated welding. Their optimal contact tip cooling and gas coverage make them particularly  economical during use. With its new torches, the corresponding hose packages, the wire feed, and the power source, Lorch offers a precisely coordinated overall solution to warrant maximum efficiency for all robot systems.

Lorch perfects Cobot welding

Lorch Schweißtechnik further increases the degree of Cobot automation with smart sensor technology for seam tracking. The combination of the TouchSense weld seam search with SeamTracking weld correction ensures high-welding quality even with tolerances and distortions and without requiring any complex programming. Lorch lifts Cobot welding onto a new dimension with its SeamPilot top feature: Roughly specifying the starting point is all you need to do. The Cobot will follow the weld seam to its end automatically, producing straight fillet welds as well as complex free forms.
